Types of Computer Processor

On this occasion, allow me to share some information about the kinds of processors used in a computer.

We know there are two types of processors are the most favored by the people, namely INTEL and AMD. This did not escape the reliability of both the processors in terms of performance and quality. And has been proven by their community. But this time will share more information about the type of processor, namely:

1. Intel (PIC 1)

Is a processor made by Intel Corporation. The public would no doubt with this one. Beginning was made in 1968 that has the following advantages:

• Having a brand or name already known to the public, so as to have a high selling power

2. AMD (PIC 2)

AMD is the abbreviation of Advanced Micro Devices Inc. Main competitor Intel. Processor type is much in demand by a hobbyist game. Because there is one product that is equipped with a VGA Ati Radeon.

When compared with Intel, AMD greater power consumption, making it more wasteful electricity.

3. ARM (PIC 3)

Maybe you rarely or have never heard of this type of processor, because it is mostly used in handpone devices, music players and routers.

4. CYRIC (PIC 4)

First produced in 1988. Having features that are optimal speed and low working temperature. However in quality, still under Intel and AMD.

5. TRANSMETA (PIC 5)

Produced beginning in 1995. The advantage that requires less power, lower prices and do not heat quickly.

6. VIA (PIC 6)

First produced in 1987 by the State Taiwan. And more focused on running the device lighter and relatively small.

7. CENTAUR (PIC 7)

Created in 1995 by Glenn Henry et al. However, the ability of this processor is still less than the above.
